A scholar and visionary, Oba Adeagbo pursued his academic journey at All Saints’ Primary School, Jericho, Ibadan, and the International School, University of Ibadan. His quest for knowledge led him to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. Additionally, he holds an Honorary Doctorate degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from Espam University, Cotonou, Republic of Benin.

Prior to ascending the throne, Oba Adeagbo carved a distinguished path in the corporate world. His expertise as an economist and leadership roles in organizations like Colkon Marine Support Services Ltd and Mettle Dredging and Marine Ltd showcased his commitment to excellence.

Installed on May 27, 2020, Oba Adeagbo assumed the throne during a pivotal moment in Otun Ekiti’s history. His reign is marked by a commitment to unity, peace, and development. A close ally of Ooni Enitan Adeyeye Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Oba Adeagbo envisions a future of progress for Otun Ekiti, Moba land, and the Yoruba race.
